- Complete all the missions in the Main Story.
- Complete missions for ten Strangers.
- Have 25 chance encounters, which are events that happen randomly to you during your travels. For example, you might help a stranger fend off wild animals or help a person into town by giving them a ride.
- Survive a gang ambush.
- Capture all six gang hideouts throughout the world.
Collectibles
- Find one point of interest in the world.
- Find the nine graves.
- Collect one whole set of cards.
- Complete A Test of Faith and find all dinosaur bones.
- Complete A Fisher of Fish and catch each legendary fish.
- Complete Duchesses and Other Animals and find all exotics.
- Complete Geology for Beginners and find all the Rock Carvings.
- Complete A Better World, A New Friend and complete all the hunting requests.
- Complete one treasure hunter chain.
- Find all 20 Dreamcatchers.

- Discover 50 animals.

- Discover five shacks.

- Play one match of Poker, Blackjack, Dominoes, and Five Finger Fillet.
- Interact with five Ranters, Ravers, and Campaingers.
- Take one bath.
- See one show.
- Visit the theater in Saint Denis.
- Craft one cooking recipe, one tonic, one hunting item, one horse care item, and one weapon.
- Complete one coach robbery, one home robbery, one shop robbery, and train robbery.
Once you have done all of these things, you will have attained 100% completion in Red Dead Redemption 2.
