The Skate franchise is officially coming to PC. In addition to consoles, the next game in the Electronic Arts franchise will launch on PC.
Electronic Arts and the Full Circle developers shared a video on Twitter to coincide with the announcement, posting a video of a skater kicking on a computer monitor. The screen turns on to show the Skate logo.
The Skate franchise has been a console exclusive series since 2007, until now. The first three games were released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Since Skate 3’s launch in 2010, the series has been dormant, though the developers shared a behind-the-scenes trailer last month to assure fans that the fourth game of Skate is still in development.
Skate 4 Release Date
There is still very little detailed information about the next Skate game. The official name & release date has yet to be announced. However, last month’s EA trailer featured an open-world design similar to the perfect downhill map from “Skateboard 2”.
The new Skate game was announced on EA Play in June 2020. EA later shared that the new studio behind the game, Full Circle, was established to continue the Skate series. What do you think about skate 4 PC confirmation? Let us know in the comment section.
