Masters Berlin is right around the corner! More than 2,200 teams from around the world fought for the 16 spots at the tournament. From September 10-19, qualified teams will compete for the Masters Berlin trophy and a direct invitation to VALORANT Champions!
Riot Games today unveiled teams for the VCT Masters Berlin in a tweet, dividing 16 VALORANT teams into four different teams. Teams from the same region have split up, leaving room for potential regional duels in the future. With the tournament kicking off on September 10, the team now has time to study their group stage.

Valorant VCT Masters 3 Groups
Group A will consist of Vision Strikers, Paper Rex, Supermassive Blaze and Acend, while Group B will be home to Vivo Keyd, Team Envy, KRÜ Esports and Zeta Division. Group C includes Gambit Esports, Crazy Raccoon, 100 Thieves and Havan Liberty. The sentinel of the Reykjavik Masters champion is placed in Group D along with G2 Esports, Bren Esports, and F4Q.
The team’s decision was to first group the teams according to their regional performance. Then each team is randomly divided into a group. If a team is attracted to a group that already has a team in its area, it will be assigned to the next group. EMEA is the only exception to this rule because it has the highest number of representatives in the tournament. As a result, SuperMassive Blaze and Acend were assigned to Group A.
The Masters Berlin will begin with a GSL-style group stage, followed by a single eight-team knockout round. Two teams from each group will advance to the next stage, and the winner of the entire event will automatically be eligible to participate in the December Championship. All other teams also have a lot of follow-up points, with second-place points as high as 375 points.
The Berlin Masters will take place from September 10 to 19.
