With that, the price drops to £259/€329, down from £279/€329. Comparatively, the Switch OLED will cost £309.99, while the Switch Lite will cost £199.99.
Prices have been updated on Nintendo’s own website, but they have not yet been updated on other retailers’ websites, such as Amazon’s.
As part of the Metroid Dread bundle, Nintendo Switch OLED will be available on October 8. It has a slightly larger screen, upgraded to OLED, 64GB of internal storage, improved speakers, and a wider adjustable stand.
“The small details that might just make Switch OLED worthwhile,” Martin said after getting hands-on with the device last month.
This assumes, of course, that the stock is available.
Last week, there were rumblings of a price cut to make way for the arrival of OLED in the Switch market – but that implied a larger cut than the one seen today.
