Gamescom will start from 25 August but technically it already started with Xbox Stream. In the 90 minutes long event we saw gameplay of Dying Light 2, beginning moments of Forza Horizon 5 and many more.

If you missed the show, don’t worry. We’ve gathered all the biggest news and trailers below to make sure you don’t miss a thing.

Forza Horizon 5’s Cover Cars are the Mercedes AMG-1 and 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands

The Mercedes AMG-1 and 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands will be the cover cars for Forza Horizon 5. You will be able to explore through the heart of Mexico with this cars.

Also, a limited edition Forza Horizon themed Xbox controller is coming along with the game on November 9, 2021. It features splatters of blue and pink paint that is inspired by the powder fireworks that will appear in this game’s Horizon Festival. It will also come with exclusive DLC, including a classic Ford car, character cosmetic, and an emote. You can pre-order it now.

New Gameplay Trailer of Dying Light 2

A 3 minutes of Dying Light 2 gameplay trailer has been shown on the event which is set to be released in December 7, 2021. The footage shows lots of new details about the game and some first-person parkour actions. You will be able to use a grappling hook to explore the city and you can avoid damages from big fall if you jump on top of the enemies.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is Getting a Competitive Racing Mode, New Planes & Airports

Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update 6 will be released on September 7 and will update the regions of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this update they have added more details on the 100 most famous landmarks and airports in the world. An Old aircraft will also be added to the game, and the team is working with 40 museums to help preserve this history.

As part of the partnership with Reno Air Race, Microsoft Flight Simulator will also launch a competitive race mode in Fall 2021.

A Roguelite Game Into the Pit is Coming to Xbox Game Pass on Day 1

Into the Pit, a fast-paced retro-FPS roguelite game will officially be released on October 19, 2021. Well, it’s also coming to Xbox Game pass on Day 1.

Multiple Humble Games are Joining on Xbox Game Pass

Humble Games revealed that Archvale, Next Space Rebels, Midnight Fight Express, Dodgeball Academia, Bushiden, Flynn: Son of Crimson, Unpacking, Signalis, Unsighted, and Chinatown Detective Agency will be launched on Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release.

Xbox Cloud Gaming Coming to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in Fall 2021

Xbox Cloud Gaming will arrive on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox in Holiday 2021 for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers and will allow for users to play 100+ games from the cloud on their consoles. Microsoft is also targeting to have these games reach 1080p/60 FPS.

Microsoft confirmed that Xbox Cloud Gaming will be available on Xbox One & Series X/S at the end of this year. Only Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get access to cloud gaming to play 100+ games on their consoles. This games will run at native 1080p/60 FPS.

A new DLC of Wasteland 3: Cult of the Holy Detonation is coming on October 5, 2021. A trailer of this expansion has been dropped. The DLC takes place in the Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado and features more dungeon crawling and big boss battles.

Sea of Thieves Is Releasing a Borderlands-Themed Mayhem Ship Set

Sea of Thieves is releasing the Mayhem Ship Set into the game, and this particular vessel is part of a crossover with Borderlands. All players will be able to earn it from August 24 – September 7 via the Making Mayhem event.

State of Decay 2: Homecoming will be released on September 1 and adds a new map, six new bases, and new weapons. This new adventure actually takes place in Trumble Valley, where the original game took place, but this time it will take the form of a “fully remastered, open-world playable map.”

The Gunk’s Newest Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Gunk Cleaning

The Gunk received a new gameplay trailer that showed off the main character cleaning up… the gunk on the alien planet the game takes place on. We also saw some of the creatures players will run into, the vehicles they will ride, and more. The Gunk will be released in December 2021.
