Snoop Dogg has revealed that Dr. Dre is working on music for an unannounced title of the GTA game series.
In a Rolling Stone Podcast which will be available to stream on November 3, Snoop says Dre is in the studio right now, making “great fucking music” for a Grand Theft Auto game. Which one, though, is unclear.
Dr. Dre Is Making Music For An Upcoming GTA Game
“I do know he’s in the studio, I do know he’s making great fucking music. And some of his music is connected to the GTA game that’s coming out. So I think that that will be the way that his music will be released, through the GTA video game.”

Snoop’s claims have yet to be confirmed by the game’s creator, Rockstar Games, or any of Dr. Dre’s representatives, and no release date for the next installment in the long-running game series has been announced.
Dre’s music has previously appeared on the in-game radio stations of multiple ‘GTA’ games, including ‘Fuck Wit Dre Drey’ and ‘Deep Cover’ in ‘Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’ and ‘Still D.R.E.’ and ‘The Next Episode’ in ‘Grand Theft Auto V’s. Dre’s new material would be his first since his 2015 album ‘Compton.’
Meanwhile, the ‘GTA’ series has a long history with musicians, with Moodymann being one of those who appeared as an in-person character in the game earlier this year.
