After months of silence since the game’s last major update 1.2 that launched in April, CD Projekt Red has revealed the first few details for Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.3.
Today they published another narrative-based patch notes highlights article that indicates three changes in the game. But they didn’t say anything about the free DLC or next-gen updates to the game, which are supposed to be out this year. But there’s more to come tomorrow.
The three changes highlighted in this 1.3 patch notes are really tiny to somewhat substantial, and here they are.

GPS Zoomed Out
If you’ve played Cyberpunk you know that it’s easy to miss turns because the GPS on the minimap is zoomed in to an absurd degree. Now when you go near a turn they’re zooming the minimap out, as seen in the video below.
Angel or Skye?
CDPR figured out that people kept picking the wrong Cloud employee during this one mission segment (I certainly did) and change it so they’re now more clearly labeled.
Respecing
Finally, this one seems like somewhat big. Cyberpunk will make it easer to reset your skill points for a nominal cost, meaning you can reinvest them anywhere for the ability to try out multiple builds on a character. However you can’t switch from like, full melee to full ranged or full hacker.
This is not everything in patch notes 1.3. CDPR will host a livestream tomorrow at 10 AM ET where they will reveal more stuff. Will they talk about free DLC or next-gen versions there? Maybe, as obviously that’s what people mainly want to know about.
So far, these changes seems pretty nominal, but it’s too hard to judge without knowing what they’re saving for tomorrow. At least they’ve said something, which after weeks and months of silence, is better than where we were yesterday.
