According to various retailer websites, Alan Wake Remastered will be released on Oct. 5 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and an unspecified Xbox console.
Rakuten Taiwan currently lists the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox versions with what appears to be placeholder box art for each. Sony’s PlayStation is getting an Xbox 360 classic for the first time ever.
Daniel Ahmad, a senior analyst at Niko Partners, tweeted that Alan Wake Remastered would be announced next week.
Alan Wake Remastered
Final Fantasy VII remake and Alan Wake Remasted, both were listed on Epic Games Store last June as they did a “AAA game project” publishing deal with Remedy last year. Which helped them to be stable financially. So it’s not a big surprise and obvious that Alan Wake will come to Playstation eventually.
“I am happy with the progress we have made so far in 2021,” Remedy CEO Tero Virtala said during the financial presentation. “Our financial position is stronger than before. Our multi-project model is continuously developing and we are approaching a phase where we can launch new games more often and more regularly. We are on track to reach our ambitious long-term growth objectives.”
It was then reported that Remedy’s Epic-funded project Alan Wake 2 was one of the projects. Because Alan Wake Remastered is a smaller-scale project in the same franchise, now it makes sense.
That isn’t spoiling anything, this info was essentially on the back of the box.
This better include all the dlc and follow up story
Wait… So not a sequel???
